The Quick and the Damned
Travelling to investigate Iron Tribe
We decided to leave the wagon at the church for safe keeping and went into Angel Valley to tie up loose ends. I wanted to get some information from the reporter and the banker. Sadly I found out that the reporter left about a week ago and the banker I missed by 2 days. The town was transformed as National Mining Company seemed to have taken it over and seemed to neglect hiring a sheriff. Not my problem. At least I kept telling myself that. Wilson Vanderhof is on his own personal vendetta and is looking for Dead Eye. I decided to scan the paper for any clues but the paper was useless.
I decided to go to tent town and see if anything interesting turned up there. That was cleaned up and taken over too. The town was shaped oddly, oddly enough for me to ask Millie about it. I was a good thing I did as it turned out to be a rune to open some kind of portal. This “witches rune” wasn’t was not Crow Eaters or Esmerelda’s’.
We gathered all we could from Angel Valley before we made the train. We should have waited for the next one…there was no relaxing on this train. Before all hell broke loose I met a girl named Abigail Weston, her Uncle owns the Dixie Rail. She’s a good contact to have. No sooner did I sit down when all hell broke loose! We were attacked by Harpies! Foul creatures. It felt so good blowing 2 of their heads off. I took flight with one of them, I need to remember to duck, I must have been flying up 20 or so feet before I shot it in the head. When I dropped, grabbed the rail, and crashed through the window I came up against Perdition! I was wondering where the priest was this entire time. He was up against this man, or should I say Werewolf. I need to carry silver bullets from now on. Luckily Red found out that the fear stricken Abigail had some in her little derringer. Why I don’t know. I wounded Peridition, that seemed to scare him. He left what was left of the train soon after. Maybe now I can get some rest.
